I still feel unsatisfied with the way the course is designed, I believe it should invite students to share their work, share their opinions and do some hands on activities, I am planning to put these suggestions in writing to her.

What did you learn from this project? Did you meet and/or exceed your expectations?

The further I go into the Ed tech masters program the more I like it because of the many opportunities there are to apply what one is learning. This experience made me incorporate my experience as a college teacher, a web designer, an instructional technologist and an online students. I have managed a college level classroom in a face to face setting and in an online setting, this was of great help when helping the instructor make her students participate in the Wimba sessions.  Before this experience I had not realized I possessed those abilities and was very happy to see they were of help to others.
As a web designer I have learned how to convert material to a form compatible for the web.  In this particular course, I was able to convert documents to a pdf format and the films to a format compatible for the web.
As an instructional technologist and an online student, this activity helped me integrate all that I have learned this past year.  It helped me analyze the different types of activities my online course instructors have implemented in their courses.  Specifically, I have come to realize how beneficial the course at UT El Paso  was for my online and personal experience.  This particular instructor asked us to perform hands on activities of the material we were learning , then write a reflection on how the activates had gone and share some of our experiences with the class on the discussion board.  In this particular course we never had a Wimba session and I still feel I met all the students and the instructor in a personal way. 
I believe this project exceeded my expectations. First because I did not know a project like this was available in the masters program.   Second, in this project I just thought I would learn more from BlackBoard, then I discovered it was more than just that,  for I had to apply all the theories I have been learning for instructional design.   Third, for me this was like a capstone project for it made me realize all that I have learned this past year.  For all this, Thank You Dr. Butler.
